本研究プロジェクトの目的を見据え、本年度には主に以下の研究を進めた。まず、中国北部内陸乾燥地における主要な食料供給基地である寧夏回族自治区の状況に焦点を当て、当該地域で開発される稲品種の特徴とその変化を、中国水稲研究所データベースを用いた時系列分析を行い、雑誌『環境情報科学』に原著論文を発表した（査読あり・単著）。これにより、1979～2020年にかけて低アミロース化、高株高化、多産化、生育期間の長期化、必要な施肥量の増加が進んでいることが明らかになった。また生育期間と必要な施肥量の傾向は必ずしも環境負荷を低減する方向には進んでおらず、気候変動に対する適応策の点でも課題が指摘された。加えて、気候変動への適応に有用で、栄養価が高く、かつFAOのGIAHSでもその文化生態的価値が高く評価される雑穀栽培の、乾燥地中国における生産・消費の現状について、河北省張家口市を対象に分析を行い、その成果を原著論文として雑誌『雑穀研究』に発表した（査読あり、単著）。さらに、持続可能な土地利用、景観に関する分野交流の促進を意識し、日本地理学会の機関紙『地理学評論』に、書評（日本景観生態学会編2022.『景観生態学 Landscape Ecology』共立出版）を発表した。さらに、2022年9月に開催された日本地理学会秋季大会では、計画経済期の環境復元、モニタリングのための基盤情報の分析結果を口頭発表した。

The purpose of this study is to make progress in the following areas: The main food supply base in the inland dry areas of northern China is located in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The characteristics and changes of rice varieties developed in this region are discussed. A series of analysis on the development and application of rice varieties by China Water Research Institute is carried out. The original paper of Environmental Information Science is published. From 1979 to 2020, there will be low growth rate, high plant height, high yield, long growth period, and increase in necessary fertilizer application. The trend of necessary fertilizer application during the growth period should be reflected in the direction of reducing environmental load, and the problem of appropriate policy should be pointed out. In addition, climate change and adaptation are useful, cultivation is high, FAO's GIAHS has high cultural and ecological values, and the current situation of production and consumption in China's dry land, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province is in the process of analysis, and the results of the original paper are presented in the journal "Valley Research"(check, single). Today, the promotion of awareness of possible land use and landscape communication,"Geography Review," an organ of the Geographical Society of Japan, and book reviews (published jointly by the Society of Landscape Ecology, Japan, ed. 2022) are presented. In September 2022, the autumn meeting of the Geographical Society of Japan was held. The results of the analysis of the environmental recovery and environmental protection information in the planning period were presented orally.
