项目摘要

2022年度は、新型コロナウイルス感染症への対応を余儀なくされつつも、研究課題に関連した先行研究の整理、および、フィールドワーク先についての資料調査等をおこなった。先行研究の整理では、前年度に引き続き、国内外の移民の宗教コミュニティの事例研究や、移民とジェンダーに関する文献を読み、論点の整理をおこなった。移民にとっての宗教は、社会的および精神的サポートを供給するコミュニティとしての役割を果たす。しかし、移民であり女性であるという二重に地位が低くなりがちな人々が、宗教コミュニティ内でどのような立ち位置にあるかという研究は少ない。インターセクショナリティという近年の新たな概念を活用し、移民の宗教コミュニティの女性たちを理解することが重要であることが示唆される。また、ホスト社会である日本の宗教について調査データを分析した。コロナ禍における日本人の宗教行動の変容の規定要因を探るため、調査データを用いて分析をおこなった。その結果、コロナ禍の宗教行動（参拝頻度）は、社会的属性を統制した上で、権威主義的態度や社会志向性に影響されて変容していることが分かった。日本人の宗教行動・宗教意識を把握することは、移民の宗教性との比較をおこなう上で有用である。今後はホスト社会・日本の状況を踏まえた上で、移民女性をめぐる宗教を解明することを目指す。
