项目摘要

本研究の目的は視聴覚感情知覚の発達過程の解明を行いコミュニケーションに困難をきたす人々のニーズにこたえる実践につなげることである。令和4年度は視聴覚感情知覚の発達過程についての知見をまとめることを目指し、視聴覚同時提示のオンラインプログラム開発と視聴覚感情知覚の生涯発達の検討を軸にした検討を行った。視聴覚同時提示のオンラインプログラム開発では、それまで単体刺激提示だったオンラインプログラムに加え視聴覚同時呈示も行う実験プログラムを開発し，遠隔・オンラインと実験室でデータを収集して比較した。その結果、感情を読み取る課題では、オンラインでも妥当性の高いデータが収集できることが示唆された。一方、課題による特性を検討するため「何を言っていたか」を捉える別の課題についても同様の比較を行ったところ，感情課題と異なりオンライン実験では視聴覚情報の統合が起きづらいというように、オンラインで結果が再現されない可能性が示唆された。つまり、視聴覚知覚課題のオンライン化は，刺激を長時間提示する課題であれば実験室実験の代替手段として実施可能だと言える。次に，生涯発達の視点から幅広い年齢の参加者の視聴覚知覚を測定する実験を行ったところ、成人の中でも20代の若年の成人と高齢の成人で違いがみられ、幼児期は顔の表情、青年期は声の感情、老年期は再び顔の表情を重視する可能性が示唆された。視聴覚感情知覚の発達メカニズムとして、幼少期の変化は単感覚の情報を統合するという発達過程，成人期の変化は感覚器における加齢の影響に基づく過程である可能性が考えられる。この他，成果発表や視聴覚高次感情知覚の検討を通して知見のまとめを行った。
