项目摘要

2023年2月、『英日通訳翻訳における語順処理　順送り訳の歴史・理論・実践』を刊行した。ここに本研究課題の成果として、第2章の「「相関モデル」から見た順送り訳」（船山）および第3章の「順送りのための概念操作」（石塚）を収録した。その後、3件の口頭発表を行った。今年度は、これまでに引き続き、同時通訳の訳出に表れた追加的指示詞に注目し、「言語コミュニケーションの概念-意味相関モデル」(船山, 2020、以下「相関モデル」)の立場から、通訳者の対人認知のあり方を探っている。これによりディスコース処理における全体的処理と局所的処理の具体化として、新たな要素を見出した。日本通訳翻訳学会第23回年次大会（2022年9月）では、通訳データベース（JNPCコーパス）に含まれる同時通訳付記者会見（記録時間43分16秒）のうち、典型と思われる１例の詳細な分析を示した。この研究では、追加的指示詞のうちとくに直示用法に注目し、通訳者による情報保持の観点から、相関モデルにおける推論ルートの働きを指摘した。次に日本通訳翻訳学会通訳コミュニケーション研究プロジェクト第1回研究会（2023年1月）では、同じ同時通訳記録の分析に量的手法を取り入れ、収録時間43分16秒の同時通訳記録における追加的指示詞の分布を分析した。今回の分析は、技術的側面としてメタ表示が積極的な役割を果たす例を示し、基盤的側面として言語的置換を超えた対人認知の働きを指摘した。さらにロンドン大学SOASのCentre for Translation Studies主催のGlobal Seminar Series (2023年2月)での講演を行った。ここでは、特に基盤的側面からの分析に焦点を絞り、コミュニケーションの基盤をなす共同注意の観点を組み込むことにより、同時通訳における認知処理を対人認知の実態を含め記述した。
