本年度はまず、アフガニスタンの学校教師の職務満足度と動機付け要因に焦点を当てた研究を行った。本研究では、アフガニスタン首都カブールの378人の教師から得られたフィールド実験データを使用して、給与、一日あたりの授業数、クラスあたりの生徒数、仕事机、教師研修、居住地区など、提案された動機付け政策の関連要素が教師の満足度に与える因果効果を測定した。提案された教師の動機付け政策は、サンプルによって広く支持されていたことが明らかになった。この研究は、 "Measures to Motivate Teachers in Afghanistan: A Proposal,” Asia Pacific Education Review, November 2022, pp. 1-17. として公刊された。また、上記の研究と並行して、バングラデシュの災害被害農家2,519人を対象に、マッチングなどのさまざまな統計的因果推論の手法を用いて、農業クレジット政策の農業投資支出への因果効果を評価した研究を行った。調査には、全国的に代表的な5年間隔調査であるHousehold Income and Expenditure Study（HIES）2016-2017のデータを使用し、結果として、農業クレジットへのアクセスが農業投資支出に有利で有意な影響を与え、農家の投資能力と農産物の生産性を向上させるための政策ツールとして有効であることが示唆された。本研究も"Does access to agricultural credit help disaster-affected farming households to invest more on agricultural input?" Agricultural Finance Review, 83(1), 96-106 (2023)．として国際学術誌に公刊された。
