项目摘要

コロナ感染の影響により、計画調書提出時に計画していた海外での実地調査を実施できていない。これについては、感染リスクを考慮して断念することとした。その代わりに、下記３点を実施した。①既存の調査データ(公立小４年生並びに附属中１年生対象)の再解析と再解釈、②海外の手書きに関する研究の捜集と解釈。③書字データ採取解析にカスタマズしたアプリケーションの開発。①の結果、下記がわかった。【量的指標の比較】a.聞き取り課題の難易度にかかわらず、中１生は、小４生よりも、多くの字数で手書きメモを生産する。b.調査参加者の学年にかかわらず、メモ筆記に投入する時間が多いほど、生産される文字数は多くなる。c.メモしている際の筆記速度は、中１生も小４生もそれほど差はない。【話の理解度の比較】d.難易度の異なる２課題について、中１生は、小４生よりも、どちらも理解度が高い。e.小４レベル聞き取り課題では、中１生はほとんどの生徒が満点をとった。中１生にとっては、易しすぎたといえる。f.中１レベル聞き取り課題では、小４生は満点をとった児童は１人もいない。理解度 50 ％未満の児童が全体の７割以上いる。小４生にとっては、かなり難しい課題であったといえる。【手書きメモと理解度の関連】g.小４生では、手書きメモの文字数が多いほど、理解度テストの得点率が高くなる。この時期の児童にとっては、メモを取ること自体、あるいは、自らが作成したメモを参照することが理解を促進する。h.中１生では、手書きメモの文字数の量的な変動は、理解度を促進しない。今回の調査課題が易しすぎて、メモの効果が現れにくかったかもしれない。あるいは、メモの量より、質が重要になるかもしれない。②北欧の低学年の調査結果が発表されつつあり、さらに詳細に追跡を続ける方法を模索中。③開発したアプリケーションを活用した調査を、次年度に実施する計画である。
