1. グラフの包含から構成される de Branges-Rovnyak 空間とグラフの自己同型群との関係を調べた。特に、グラフの自己同型群に対し、一種の分離性を導入する必要があることに気づいた。その分離性をみたすグラフの例の探索をグラフ理論の専門家で研究分担者である谷口氏（広工大）と共同で進めた。2. 制御理論の専門家で研究協力者である伊吹氏（明治大）、山内氏（東京大）、畑中氏（東工大）との共著「機械学習のための関数解析入門　カーネル法実践：学習から制御まで」が内田老鶴圃から令和5年5月末に発刊予定である。これにより、本研究の応用部門から発展したプロジェクトを完遂したことになる。3. 1と2の研究の途中で、カーネル関数の構成法について、フォック空間のテンソル代数構造が利用できることに気づいた。このアイデアの応用として、有限生成な自由群上の語距離、単位開円板上の擬双曲距離から構成される指数関数型のカーネル関数に対し、それらが狭義正定値であることを示した。さらに、その副産物として、ガウス型カーネル関数に対する普遍近似定理の比較的簡単な新しい証明が得られた。それらを論文 ``An unbounded approach to the theory of kernel functions" としてまとめ、専門誌に投稿、現在査読中である。また、京都大学数理解析研究所にて研究集会「再生核ヒルベルト空間を中心とした実解析・複素解析・函数解析の総合的研究」を澤野氏（中央大）と共同で主催し、上記論文の内容の一部を報告した。なお、この研究集会には、海外から Deepak 氏 (Indian Statistical Institute Bangalore Centre) の参加があり、この機会を利用して共同研究を行った。
