研究課題①：「つなぎ詞「風吹きて」にみられる通態的機能」に関しては、第八巻1617番歌を検討し、第三句「風吹きて」が、上の句の情景描写と下の句の心情表現を比喩的に結びつける機能を持つと示した。この第三句を、オギュスタン・ベルクのいう「通態性」－相反する二極間の往復運動を指す－を借りて「通態句」と名付けたい。この研究は2019年に萬葉学会全国大会にて口頭発表した論考を発展させたものであり、2021年にパリの高等研究実習院での口頭発表を予定している。研究課題②：「『万葉集』における序歌と相聞歌に見られる通態性」においては、第二巻93番歌および94番歌を対象に、これまで等閑視されていた序歌の第三句に着目しつつ、序歌と相聞歌に見られる通態性を明らかにした。事実、歌の前半部と後半部の対応関係は「つなぎ詞」だけではなく、この第三句によっても実現される。以上については京都工業繊維大学の紀要論文にて2021年度公表予定である。研究課題③：「柿本人麻呂の和歌における「通態性」」については、人麻呂作品の綿密な分析を行った。人麻呂の用いる動詞「見ゆ」は、「見られる対象」と「見る主体」を同時に浮かび上がらせ、それらを一体化させる。つまり歌い手と風景の交感が「見ゆ」を媒介に果たされ、ここに和歌における主体と客体の間の「通態性」が認められるのである。また、人麻呂の「ことあげ」という表現に着目し、和歌の「通態性」を別の観点から検討した。第十三巻3250番歌の歌い手と思われる女性歌人が、人麻呂作品における「ことあげ」のモチーフを反復していると示している。ここに見られるのは、「受容」から新たな「創造」へと向かう通態的運動に他ならない。以上の研究結果は、共同研究会の成果著書である『読解から創造へ－受容と創造における通態的連鎖－』において遺憾無く示されており、2021年に日仏両言語での出版を予定している。
