本研究では、日本人学習者のスペイン語の発音に見られる問題について、主に理論的側面と言語教育的側面の双方からアプローチすることを目指している。理論的側面では、日本人スペイン語学習者の発話時の発音の特性・難点の分析、および、その言語教育面への応用を考えることを視野に入れている。これについて、研究代表者は、2019年度および2021年度に行った研究で用いた手法に従いながらも、2022年度はそれらの論考とは異なる強勢語および無強勢語を用いて、そのピッチを変えた刺激を作成し、メキシコ人のスペイン語ネイティブスピーカーの協力を得て、その自然さや文の種類を判断する際、そうした加工がどのように影響するかを比較、分析するための実験を現地で行うことができた。その結果を論文1編（査読付き）にまとめ、発表した。また、2019年10月以降、数回にわたり、研究分担者のうち1名が準備した楽曲を用い、日本人スペイン語学習者に対し発音指導を行い、その授業を受けた被験者とそうでない被験者から発音のデータを採取して、2グループを比較した分析結果を海外の学会で2021年6月に発表、2022年3月に刊行された当該学会の国際会議議事録にその内容が論文として掲載された。これに続く分析を実施し、2023年6月に行われる海外での学会発表を申し込んだところ、採択に至り、当該学会でその結果を発表する予定になっている。この他、研究分担者1名が2編、研究成果を論文として発表した。
