The instrument is going to be used for scanning tissue section slides in an automated fashion. The 3-color camera will enable scanning of histological slides, while the fluorescence mode will allow for imaging fluorescently labelled tissue sections. The stacker for the slide loader will allow for pre-loading 100 slides for automated acquisition. The instrument will be placed in an imaging core facility to serve as a central place for instrument-based services.
