Application of an Intelligent CAI System with Graphical and Voice Media to Educaton in University for Developmental Scientifical Research

本研究通过对计算机辅助教学在高校教育中的应用进行了理论研究和实验研究，取得了以下成果。多媒体语言教育：开发了一个名为“LearnAV”的教育系统。该系统将一台个人计算机与盒式磁带录像机系统和光盘相连接，使教育资源有动画和文本作为教材；该系统被用作早稻田大学语言教学研究所英语课程的测试版。日语课程：开发了一个名为LearnJ的教育系统。该系统具有封闭的测试设施，在日语课程中是行之有效的。并作为测试版本在早稻田大学日语中心使用。计算机网络中的计算机辅助教学系统：开发了一个教学系统“LearnNet”。该系统既支持教学活动，也支持师生交流活动。并将其作为《C编程语言》源码的测试版。计算机辅助教学中的智能设备：开发了一个教学系统。该系统是基于对习题与计算机辅助教学中教材的知识表示和解题方法的研究。超媒体在大学教育中的应用：开发了一本超媒体式的图声《群论》教材。该系统建立在代数教学模式和教学方法研究的基础上。留学生学习的多媒体教学系统：本研究提出了一种构建交互式多媒体环境的方法。软件设计的学习环境：本研究开发了一个支持信息检索、规划、编码和交流活动的超文本系统。

This research got following results after theoretical studies and experimences on application of CAI for education in university.1. language education with multi-media : An educational system "LearnAV" was developped. In this system, a personal-computer is connected with a video cassette recorder system and an optical video disk, so the education source has animation and text as teaching materials ; And this system was used as test version of English cource in Institute of Language Teaching in Waseda University.2. Japanese language cource : An educational system "LearnJ" was developed. This system has closed test facility, that is known effective in Japanese language cource. And this was used as test version in Center for Japanese Language in Waseda University.3. CAI system in computer network : An educational system "LearnNET" was developed. This system supports both teaching activities and communication activities between the teacher and students. And this was used as test-version of "C programming language" source.4. Intelligent facility in CAI : An educational system was developped. This system is based on a researcli of knowledge represenation of teaching materials and problem solving methods for CAI in exercise witli cominunication.5. HYPERMEDIA to education in university : A textbook for "the theory of groups" in HYPERMEDIA style witli graphic and sound was developped. This system is based on a research of teaclier-model and teaching method on algebra.6. multi-inedia educational system for liumane studies : This research shows a method of building interactive multi-media environment.7. learning environment for software design : This research developed a HYPERTEXT system supporting information retrieve, planning, coding, and communication activities.
