COVID-19パンデミックにより、世界中でテレワークやオンライン学習が普及した。そのため都市計画は、従来型の通勤・通学を前提とした都市構造から、新たに 「リモート型ライフスタイル」に対応することが求められる。リモートには特有の都市生活上の課題も指摘されていることから、都市計画による対応は喫緊の課題といえる。2021年度は、国際誌に査読付き論文が掲載された。この論文ではリモートワーカーに焦点を当て、その都市緑地利用の特徴を明らかにした。2022年度は、この研究を発展させた研究成果が、国際誌npj Urban sustainabilityに「Urban agriculture in walkable neighborhoods bore fruit for health and food system resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic」と題して掲載された（共著論文）。この論文では、パンデミック期間のライフスタイルのうち、緑地利用に焦点を当て、その精神的健康の改善効果を実証したものである。研究の結果、精神的健康の改善効果では、大きな公園の利用(オッズ比: 1.44, p=0.001)よりも、農地の利用(オッズ比: 2.06, p<0.001)の方が効果的であることが明らかになった。加えて、2022年度までの研究成果に基づき、本研究課題は国際的に発展させるべきものであると捉え、国際共同研究加速基金(国際共同研究強化(A))に『「ライフスタイルの多様性」を支える公共空間戦略の国際比較研究』と題した研究助成を申請し、採択された。

COVID-19 is the most popular language in the world. Urban planning, urban mobility, urban structure, urban mobility, urban The problem of urban planning is the problem of urban planning. This paper focuses on the improvement of mental health during the period of green space utilization. The results of the study showed that mental health improved significantly with the utilization of parks (ratio: 1.44, p=0.001) and cultivated land (ratio: 2.06, p<0.001). In addition, the research results for the year 2022 are based on the following topics: international development, international joint research acceleration fund (international joint research enhancement (A)), international comparative research on public space strategy.
