项目摘要

本年度の研究では、ヘーゲルの『精神現象学』に至るまでの自己意識理論について取り組んだ。特にゲーテ、シラーにおける人間形成の問題に重点を置いて研究を進めた。その具体的な成果は以下のとおりである。（１）シラーの哲学的著作である、『優美と尊厳』、『カリアス書簡』、『人間の美的教育についての書簡』および『素朴文学と情感文学』を中心に、美と芸術が人間の自己形成に対して果たす役割について考察した。そうすることにより、カントの『道徳形而上学の基礎付け』と『実践理性批判』に示されるような、道徳的自立に基づく自由という思想がシラーの芸術観における根本理解を形作ることを明らかにした。またシラーがカントの自己理解とは異なり、美に対して独自の領域を認めることで、カントの『判断力批判』における美の役割をさらに積極的なものとしてとらえ返したことを明らかにした。この点については、シラーが完成と理性を従属関係においてではなく、相互作用のもとに理解していたことによることを解明した。（２）シラーにおける美の理解の背景として、フィヒテの『全知識学の基礎』における自我の根本諸力の相互作用の思想について考察を行った。そうすることにより、フィヒテがもっぱら自発性を重視していたのに対し、シラーの場合、自発性と受容性が対等な関係にあり、相互に影響を与え合うとする独自の理解があることを明らかにした。（３）シラーとゲーテとの間の往復書簡を検討し、シラーの哲学的著作の執筆気における思想的背景について考察を行った。そのことにより、古代ギリシアを範とすることで、美や人間形成の問題を先鋭的に理解しようとするという点で、両者は共通するものの、両者の間での自然理解が異なることを明らかにした。
