项目摘要

2022年度（第１年目）における研究の成果について、本研究の目的・実施計画に照らし以下に述べる。１）具体的内容本年度は、母親のワークライフバランスに子どもの生活が与える影響を検証する前段階として、母親側の就労状況、労働環境、子ども側の学校生活や健康それぞれについて予備分析を中心に行った。母親側の視点として、非正規就業の母親の社会に対する不安感、次に母親の労働環境と職業選択、さらに子どもとの関連として、子どもの抑うつ傾向と母親の就労について検討を試みた。一方の子ども側の視点としては、子どもの将来の夢に現在の母親の働き方がどのくらい関連しているか検討した。これらの分析結果は、国内外の学会報告を通じコメントをうけた。同時進行として、母親のワーク・ライフ・バランスについての理解を深めるため、関連する文献収集を行った。また、これまでの研究の内、母親の働き方が娘が成長して母親になった時のキャリア選択に与える影響について更に詳細に分析を行い、投稿を始めた。２）意義と重要性本研究は、子どもの生活の変化が母親のワークライフバランスに与える影響について検討することを目的としている。本年度は、その予備的段階として、主に母親の働き方に焦点を当てて研究を進めた。予備分析では、非正規雇用の母親がよりメディアに影響を受けやすい状況や、厳しい労働環境に直面すると、WLCとの関連で正規就業を諦めがちになる様子、うつ傾向のある子どもが母親の労働に与える影響は、雇用形態や働き方のパターンによって様々であるといった一定の結果が得られた。今回は母親の働き方と子どもとの関連に焦点が当てられたため、次年度以降は家事・育児といったunpaid workに与える影響なども合わせ、更なる分析が必要である。次年度以降、更なる分析を重ね、国際学会への参加を行い、本年度得られた知見についてさらに詳細に分析を行いたい。
