本研究の目的はライフイベントの多い世代の薬剤師のプロフェッショナリズムの涵養に至る過程を明らかにし、キャリアを積み重ねていくために必要な実社会に基づいた解決策の提案することである。令和4年度（2022年度）は、研究のスタート期として認定・専門薬剤師を対象にプロフェッショナリズムとライフイベントの影響に関する実態調査に向けて準備と調査をおこない、以下の成果を得た。(1)文献調査：文献レビューでは、薬剤師・医療専門職のキャリア形成、プロフェッショナリズムなどに関する先行研究や文献を整理した。その結果を基に、申請段階で構想があったインタビュー項目に追加する形でインタビュー項目を精査し、薬剤師を対象としたライフイベントとプロフェッショナリズムの涵養に関するインタビューインタビュー項目を検討した。(2)対象者の募集・選定：対象者の募集・選定のために第32回日本医療薬学会年会等への参加し、対象となる者の募集と選定を行った。同時に倫理審査申請を行い承認を受け、倫理的な配慮を怠らない研究体制を整えた。(3)半構造化インタビューの実施：なんらかの認定・専門薬剤師を取得している薬剤師で、ライフイベントによる研究継続・キャリア継続の難しさを感じている薬剤師に対し30分から90分の半構造化インタビューを行い、データを収集した。得られたデータから逐語録を作成した。現在解析を進めており、プロフェッショナリズムの涵養に対するライフイベントとキャリア継続・中断の構造や課題を視覚化する。
