本研究においては、日本古代天皇制の王権イデオロギーや政治思想の解明を目指すにあたり、詔勅に注視した。中国の思想や制度がどのように日本詔勅に影響を与えているかを分析することにより、天皇制の特質についての考察を行った。『日本書紀』及び同書編纂時にかかる『続日本紀』所載の詔勅について、中国詔勅との比較を行った。すなわち、『日本書紀』編纂時に発布された詔勅の分析を通じて、当該期のイデオロギー政策の特質を抽出することを目指した。①日中の詔勅について、漢籍データベース、工具書等も利用し、比較を行った。その結果、これまで類似性の指摘のなかった語句や概念について、新たな知見を得ることができた。②新たに得た知見をもとに、その一例として日本詔勅に登場するいわゆる「清明心」について、中国詔勅に登場する類似の語句に注目しつつ政治的背景や官僚制度の比較の観点から分析を行った。③その結果、「清明心」は同時期の中国の君主制度や官僚制度に大きな影響を受けていることが判明した。④中国皇帝の宗教政策との関連があるか、現時点では明確にしえず、今後の課題となった。以上の新知見に基づき、引き続き研究を行っていきたい。以上の研究について、本年度は中国での国際学会にて、その成果の一部を報告することができた。また本研究に関連して、出版社から執筆依頼があり、中国思想の需要と応用に関する概説文の執筆を行った。これは本年6月に刊行予定である。
