学習障害児版「ペアレント・トレーニング」(以下、LDPT)は、読み書きが苦手な子どもをもつ保護者が子どもの認知特性に基づいた支援方法を学び家庭で実践することにより、子どもに適切な指導・支援を開始できるプログラムである。このLDPTの効果を維持するためには、実施者に、子どもの知的発達、読み書き、認知特性に関する情報を保護者から聞き取るスキル(以下、情報収集スキル)と保護者から聞き取った情報に基づいて学習支援計画を作成するスキルの向上が必要である。実施者は、学習支援計画を作成するスキルを向上することで、保護者に対して効果的な学習支援計画の作成を支援できる。そこで本研究では、LDPTの実施者養成として、上記スキルの向上を目的とした研修を開発、実施し、その効果を検討した。参加者は、公立小中学校の教員6名であった。研修は、全5回で1回2時間であった。研修内容は、読み書きの困難さの実際、主訴の明確化、フォーマルなアセスメントとインフォーマルなアセスメント、インフォーマルな質問とそれに基づく評価、インフォーマルなアセスメントから導かれる支援課題と支援方法、学習支援計画の作成から構成した。研修の効果測定は、模擬相談場面での情報収集の内容とその情報を基に作成された学習支援計画の内容を評価した。模擬相談場面では、読み書きが苦手な子どもの架空事例を設定し、スタッフから参加者が学習支援計画の作成に必要な情報を聞き取った。研修の結果、情報収集の内容において研修前では、主訴に関すること(ここでは漢字の書きが困難)のみを中心的に聞き取っていたが、研修後では、子どもの知的発達、読み書き(仮名、漢字)、認知特性に関すること等、主訴に関すること以外に幅広い情報を収集することが可能となった。学習支援計画の内容も研修後では、研修前より子どもの読み書きの実態や認知特性に基づいたものとなった。
