○研究目的月額制タクシー定期券が導入された場合の地方都市の高齢者の外出促進効果について明らかとするとともに、その導入条件について分析を行う。○研究方法高齢化の著しい秋田県秋田市(御野場地区、大町地区、桜地区、土崎地区、新屋地区)の高齢者を対象にアンケート調査を実施。アンケート調査では、月額制タクシー定期券が導入された場合の新規訪問場所・交通手段の転換が起こる場所や訪問頻度について具体的に質問。また、月額制タクシー定期券の購入条件として「適用範囲 : 2km圏内、5km圏内、10km圏内」「適用時間 : 10時～16時、8時～20時、6時～24時」「待ち時間 : 30分、20分、10分」「購入金額 : 6万円/月、4万円/月、2万円/月」の各水準を組み合わせた9つのサンプルについて、それぞれ購入意向の質問を行った。○研究成果月額制タクシー定期券の利用により、高齢者の61.7%が新規に訪問する場所があることや、60.5%が自家用車からタクシーへ交通手段の転換が起こる場所があることが明らかとなった。このことから、月額制タクシー定期券の導入は、高齢者の外出促進効果を有するだけでなく、高齢者の運転による事故の減少にも寄与すると考えられる。月額制タクシー定期券を利用して訪問したい場所は自宅から2km圏内で52.1%を占めることが明らかとなった。月額制タクシー定期券の購入意向についてモデルを作成したところ、購入金額の要因のみが有意となった。例えば、大町地区を対象に、適用範囲 : 2km圏内、適用時間 : 10時～16時、待ち時間 : 30分の条件とした場合の購入率は、購入金額2万円/月で32.1%、4万円/月で13.1%、6万円/月で0%となる。他の地区も同様に購入金額2万円にて購入率が高い。これらのモデルから月額制タクシー定期券を導入した際の収支や必要タクシー台数の計算を行った結果、対象年齢を80歳以上とし、購入金額 : 2万円/月、適用範囲 : 2km圏内とすることが最適であることが示された。
