1.研究の目的本研究は,急激な社会の変化に対応して行われている金融経済教育の在り方について,特に社会科と総合的な学習の時間に焦点をあてながら児童や地域の実態に応じた教材や指導法の側面から明らかにすることを通し,児童に金融・経済に対する正しい理解をさせるとともに,合理的な意思決定力を育てていくことを目的に取り組んだものである。2.研究の方法(1) 金融経済教育の実践推進のための理論研究及び調査(1)「岩手県社会科教育研究会盛岡大会」への参加(授業参観・研究会等)(2)「福岡教育大学附属久留米小学校学校公開研究会」への参加(授業参観・研究会等)(3)「平成19年度教員のための金融教育セミナー」への参加(講演・実践交流会等)(2) 金融経済教育の教材及び指導法の開発と実践(1)「金融教育プログラム」(金融広報中央委員会発行)をもとにした指導案作成(2)5年生社会科「貿易と運輸」での授業実践(3)「平成19年度岩手大学教育学部附属小学校公開疫業研究会」への講師招聘3.研究の成果についてまず研究の成果として第一に挙げられるのは,教育活動全体から見た金融経済教育の在り方を明らかにできたことである。小学校においては直接的に金銭の授受や取り扱いに関わることを学習するのではなく,例えばスーパーマーケットでたくさんのお客さんに来てもらえるようにどんな工夫をしているのかなどといった,仕事をしていく上での工夫や努力について理解させることを通して,経済の基盤となっている労働に対する考えを深めさせるということが挙げられる。その他,各教科・領域等から多角的な視点で金融済教育を進めることができるということを研究会参加や自分自身の授業実践の中で解明できたことは大きな成果であった。また,他県の学校公開や金融教育セミナーへの参加を通して児童の実態に応じたさまざまな指導の工夫や教材についても研究することができた。実際の授業実践では5年生の「貿易と運輸」に取り組み,他国との貿易不均衡や国内製造業の空洞化といったいくつかの問題点を取り上げることで経済に関わる現象を多面的に考察し,自分の生活との関わりについて考える力を高めるこどができた。
