英文摘要
This application draws on the results of the first one: Early Bronze Age hoard with rib ingots from Oberding, Erding district and its surroundings. Archaeological and natural scientific analysis. In this application the focus lies on the settlements of the immediate surroundings of the Oberding hoard and on finishing the final publication of the hoard and its archaeological context, including all scientific analyses in form of a monograph. Depending on unexpected results from the first phase concerning ritual depositions in settlements with a significant amounts of animal bones, more radiometric dates are needed to further clarify the character of a new type of early Bronze Age settlement in southern Bavaria in which the hoard was found. This will help to better understand the context of the hoard, which will help to interprete its meaning.
