今日、総人口に占める高等教育修了者の割合が増加する中で、高等教育修了者間での階層細分化が進展している。そこで、本研究では高等教育修了者をさらに細区分し、個人のライフサイクルにおける地位形成過程に伴う空間的移動に焦点をあてることによって、教育水準の地域格差の形成プロセスをより詳細かつ具体的に把握することを試みた。研究の手順と成果は以下のとおりである。(1)まず、事業所名鑑および各種統計から抽出された複数立地事業所を、事業の属性および事業所立地の空間的パターンを基準として類型化した。その結果、事業所立地の空間的パターンとして全国立地型・地域立地型・局地集中立地型の3区分が抽出された。(2)このうち、全国立地型に属し事業所数も多く、各事業所の業務内容が比較的均一と考えられる金融関係事業所を取りあげ、職員の空間的移動データの収集を行い、収集された空間的移動データを統計的に処理することにより地位形成過程と空間的移動パターンとの関係を検討した。その結果、当該事業所においては、地位形成過程において、高等教育修了者間での学校間格差が存在することが明らかになった。しかしながら、その格差は近年になるにつれ弱まる傾向が見られる。(3)また、全体として、個人の地位上昇に対応して全国レベルおよび大都市圏レベルで、より高次の都市へ空間的移動を行う傾向があることを確認された。これには、事業所の垂直的機能分業の状況および人事システムが強く影響していることが判明した。以上のことから教育水準の質的格差の形成プロセスには個人の地位形成過程とそれに対応した地位形成機会の空間的不均等分布が影響していることが明らかになった。

Today, the population share of higher education students is increasing, and the class segmentation of higher education students is progressing. In this study, we try to make a detailed distinction between the higher education learners and the spatial focus of the individual's status formation process, and to grasp the specific aspects of the formation of regional differences in educational standards. The results of the study are as follows: (1)The name of a business is identified and various statistics are extracted from a plurality of business sites, business attributes and business site space. The result is that the space of the business site is divided into three categories: national site type, regional site type and local centralized site type. (2)The number of business offices belonging to the national site type is large, and the business content of each business office is compared uniformly. The financial relations of the business office are analyzed. The movement of the staff space is analyzed. The movement of the collection space is analyzed. As a result, there is a gap between the institutions of higher education and the institutions of higher education in the process of status formation. In recent years, there has been a tendency to weaken. (3)The trend of urban spatial mobility is confirmed by the fact that the status of individuals rises in the national and metropolitan areas The vertical functional division of the business office and the personnel system have a strong influence on the judgment. The above mentioned differences in the quality of education are formed in the process of personal status formation, and the unequal distribution of opportunities for status formation is affected.
