项目摘要

先行研究から,(1)音韻的作動記憶の活動には、発話運動プランニングが関与していること,(2)音韻的作動記憶で扱われている音韻的情報は,聴覚情報から容易に活性化する「抽象的な音韻表象」であること,(3)発話運動プランニングとは,そのような音韻表象の操作であるということ,が示されてきた.ここから,「人間の発話行為は聴覚情報から大きく干渉を受け,ある場合には,“スピーチ・エラー"が現れるだろう」という仮説が成り立つ.本研究では,(a)聴覚的な干渉によって,スピーチ・エラーを実験的に作りだすこと,(b)実験的スピーチ・エラーの生起に関る諸要因を検討すること,(c)スピーチ・エラーと作動記憶の関連を探ることを目的としており,平成9年度には(a),(b)を達成した.そこで,本年度は(c)を目的とした.平成9年度に開発された「実験的スピーチ・エラー」パラダイムによりスピーチ・エラーを生起させ,その生起率の個人差が,記憶範囲,早口言葉の正確さ,読みの速度,構音速度とどのような関係にあるのかを相関分析によって検討した.スピーチ・エラーの生起率と記憶範囲得点の間に有意な相関が見られ,音韻的作動記憶と実験的スピーチ・エラーの間の密接な関係が確認された.さらに,80人の被験者が上記課題を含む9課題に従事し,その結果を重回帰分析と因子分析によって検討したところ,記憶範囲の得点は,2つの因子,「発話運動プランニング」と「音韻表象」に対して高い因子負荷量を持つことが分かった.そして,スピーチ・エラーの生起率は,「音韻表象」因子と深い関連が見られ,この因子が記憶範囲との相関を導いているということが分かった.この因子は,音韻的作動記憶の機能的モデルである音韻ループにおける「音韻ストア」の働きを反映していると考えられ,また,「発話運動プランニング」因子は,音韻ループの「構音コントロール過程」に相当すると考えられた.これらの結果から,音韻ループの2要素モデルが確認されただけでなく,音韻ストアは「言語知覚システム」と,構音コントロール過程は「言語産出システム」と関係しているということが示唆された.
