项目摘要

本研究の目的は、戦前期日本の工業化過程において存在した輸送問題について、経済史・経営史的手法で実証分析を行なうことにある。事例として、浅野セメント(現:太平洋セメント)のセメント製造事業を取り上げ、輸送の問題が生産や経営にいかなる影響を与えていたのか、それに対する浅野側の対応・戦略はいかなるものであったのか等を、可能な限り一次資料を発掘・収集しながら考察してゆくことが、研究の具体的な内容である。平成10年度は、前年度における所在調査を踏まえた本格的な資料収集を行なうことを最大の目的としていたが、成果は当初の予想以上であった。調査先は、上磯町教育委員会(北海道)、東亜建設工業、東京商工会議所、青梅市郷土資料館、紅林ちゑ家、交通博物館、国立公文書館、国立国会図書館(東京都)、横浜市史編集室、横浜開港資料館(神奈川県)などであったが、資料収集の重点はこれらのうちの非公開機関に集中し、平成9年度設備備品として購入したマイクロフィルムカメラを駆使して、新資料を多数収集することができた。また、一部分の資料については分析作業の便をはかるため、収集したフィルムからコピー・製本を行なった。以上の資料による分析を踏まえた研究成果のうち、年度内に学術論文として公表可能となるのは一部にとどまったが、このほかに現在投稿中の論文がある。また、平成11年7月に全国学会(経営史学会)で本研究の成果を口頭発表する予定である。

The purpose of this study is to analyze the transportation problems in the process of industrialization in Japan in the early stage. Examples of Asano's (now Pacific) production and transportation problems include the impact of production and transportation problems on Asano's production and management, and the possibility of limiting primary data development, collection, and investigation. In 2010, the survey was conducted in the previous year, and the results were expected to be the same as those in the previous year. Survey priorities, Kamiiso Town Board of Education (Hokkaido), Higashi Construction Industry, Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ome City Soil Database, Kurobayashi Chibi House, Transportation Museum, National Public Library, National Diet Library (Tokyo), Yokohama City History Compilation Office, Yokohama Kaiko Database (Kanagawa) In 2009, equipment was purchased and new data was collected. Some of the data are collected and analyzed. The above data are analyzed and the research results are published in the academic papers of the year. The results of this research were announced orally in July 2011 by the National Society for Management History.
