项目摘要

平成13年度の研究としては(1)東南アジア自動車産業関係学術論文文献改題作成。(2)研究論文「ASEAN域内ソーシング再考(上)(下)」執筆。(3)シンガポール自動車、自動車部品企業アジア統括本部調査(平成13年12月24日〜28日)。訪問先:DENSO INTERNATIONAL ASIA PTE.LTD.(4)The Asia Business Forum主催Automotive Asia 2002 : Trend, Developments and Challenges Facing Asia's Automotive Industry参加。ASEAN域内の自動車産業が「水平的分業関係」を取り結んでいるという場合、その各国間の関係がいかなる意味で「水平的」であるのかを構造的に描く必要がある。一般に、双方の国に主従関係が見られない場合、つまり参加者間に階層的な格差がなく、「相互依存」的である場合、その分業関係は「水平的」であると把握されることが多いようである。報告者は日系自動車メーカーのソーシング(部品調達)体制についてより微視的にアプローチする必要があると考えた。さらにそれを実態・理論の両面から説明する研究方針を立てた。その結果明らかになったのは、以下のことである。域内4カ国は各社程度の差こそあれ、A国、B国、C国からD国が一方的に輸入している関係ではない。逆にB国、C国、D国の生産はA国の基幹部品があれば完了するという集中的依存関係でもない。またA国→B国→C国→D国というように順次的に加工段階を重ねる関係でもない。むしろ、各国は分散的でありつつも、参加者全てと双方依存的な互酬関係を取り結ぶ補完的構造となっている。平成13年度は以上の実態を上記調査(1)(3)(4)に基づいて明らかにし、研究論文(2)に進化論アプローチを用いて理論的に整理した。
