学士課程における多職種連携教育としての緩和ケア教育のあり方に関する基礎的研究

本研究の目的は、学士課程における緩和ケア教育の現状を多職種連携教育の観点から把握・分析し、共通科目としての「緩和ケア」教育の実現の可能性を探ることである。平成20年度は、大学の教科担当教員と学生を対象に緩和ケアの授業に関する調査を重点的に実施した。96学科を対象にした調査の有効回答数は34学科(35.4%)であり、内訳は看護(9)、理学(7)、作業(8)、社会福祉(3)、放射線(4)および臨床検査(3)であった。学科の枠を超えた他学科との緩和ケアに関する合同授業は10学科(29.4%)が実践していた。取り組んでいる学科は看護、作業療法、社会福祉に多く、理学や放射線および検査では少ない傾向にあった。合同授業を開講していない21学科のうち15学科(71.4%)は多職種連携教育の重要性を認識していた。学生は4年次生258名を対象にした。有効回答数は209(81%)であり、内訳は看護(31.6%)、理学(24.4%)、作業(23.9%)、社会福祉(10.5%)、臨床検査(4.8%)、放射線(4.8%)であった。緩和ケアについては90%以上の学生が知っており、88.4%の学生は緩和ケアに積極的関心を示した。他学科学生との緩和ケア合同授業を70%が希望し、専攻する領域での緩和ケア授業については約82%が希望していた。調査から、少数ではあるが多職種連携を意図した緩和ケア教育が始動していることがわかった。また学生は、全体的傾向として緩和ケアやその授業に対し意欲的・積極的な学生が多いと推察された。教育内容の精選や方法、時間数、さらに教育体制などの課題があるが、計画的で積極的な戦略・取り組みにより保健医療福祉系大学において多職種連携としての緩和ケア教育を充実・発展させることは可能であると結論づけることができる。なお、これらの結果は21年度に学会報告等を予定している。

The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of the implementation of "moderating education" in undergraduate courses, multi-vocational education, and common subjects.
