项目摘要

The Heavy Fermion state in extremely low carrier concentration cannot be understood by simple extension of exact solution of single impurity kondo problem. This problem have been pointed out by us since ten years ago based on our some results of CeSb and CeBi. During this project term supported by this Grant-in-Aid we could discovered the several anomalous properties of these extremely low carrier substance and could get excellent good single crystal by improvement of ultra high temperature furnace, which is described in detail in paper 1). The Heavy Fermion state in low carrier have found out to be classified as following ;1) Heavy Fermion state with no reduction full magnetic moment in magnetic order : CeBi, CeSb, CeAs, CeP (ref 2 ー ref 11)2) Heavy Fermion state with substantial reduction magnetic moment in magnetic order : YbP, YbAs (ref 12 - ref 15)3) Heavy Fermion state without any magnetic order : Yb_4As_3 (ref 16 - ref 24)4) Heavy Fermion state without free carriera) without magnetic order Sm_3Se_4b) with magnetic order Sm_3Te_4
单杂质近藤问题精确解的简单推广不能理解极低载流子浓度下的重费米子态。这个问题早在十年前我们就根据我们的一些CeSb和CeBi的结果指出了。在本项目资助期内,我们发现了这些极低载流子物质的几种异常性质,并通过对超高温炉的改进获得了优异的单晶,这在论文1中有详细的描述。低载流子下的重费米子态可以分为以下几种:1)重费米子态,无还原,磁阶全磁矩:CeBi, CeSb, CeAs, CeP (ref 2 ~ ref 11)2)重费米子态,磁阶磁矩大幅还原:YbP, YbAs (ref 12 ~ ref 15)3)重费米子态,无任何磁阶:Yb_4As_3 (ref 16 ~ ref 24)4)重费米子态,无自由载流子,无磁阶Sm_3Se_4b,有磁阶Sm_3Te_4
