项目摘要

交付申請書の「研究目的」及び「研究実施計画」で述べたように、本研究では、15・16世紀以降における郷紳(士大夫)ー宗族の関係を中心とした地域社会の構造を解明する予備的作業の一つとして、当該の関係が最も早期に成立したと考えられる江南を対象として、当該の関係の実態を明かにし、また明朝が宗族に対していかなる政策をとったのかを検討しようとした。一年間の研究を通じて得られた知見は次のようなものである。第一に、宋代に始まった宗族形成の動きは、明朝成立前後の時代に再び活発化する。この時代、浙東・浙西では、地主・士大夫を担い手として、族譜編纂・祠堂設立、また合爨、義荘の挙行などが行なわれ、その結果、宗族組織が少なからず成立した。第二に、元末明初期における宗族形成の風潮は、この時代において、江南の地主・士大夫に任官の道が開放されるようになったという政治情勢の変化と緊密な関係がある。宋代に科挙官僚制度が確立して以来、江南には、国家の官僚制度との関係の保持を誇る名門の家系が存在するが、それらの名門の家系であっても、開放的な官僚制度、家産均分の慣行のもとでは、子孫にまで富と身分を受け渡すことは容易ではなく、ついには家系そのものが社会的に埋没することもまれではない。元末明初期における任官の道の開放の形成に乗じて官僚機構に進出した地主・士大夫は、子孫没落、象系の断絶という危機を克服し、「世臣」「世家」と呼ばれるところの、官僚機構との永続的な関係を保つ家系を確立すべく、宗族を形成しようとしたと考えられる。以上が本年度で得られた知見である。今後、この知見をもとに、地主・士大夫の宗族に対する明朝の政策を明らかにするとともに、宗族が江南のみでなく、華中・華南の諸地域に普及した15・16世紀以降いかなる地域構造が成立したのかを、珠江デルタを対象として検討したいと考えている。

The purpose of the study and the plan for implementation of the study were stated in the submission of the application. This study focused on the relationship between gentry (scholar-bureaucrats) and clans after the 15th and 16th centuries. The structure of regional society was explained. The preparatory work was carried out when the relationship was established at the earliest stage. The first time I saw him, I saw him. First, the formation of clans began in the Song Dynasty, and became more active in the era before and after the founding of the Ming Dynasty. The era, the east of Zhejiang, the west of Zhejiang, the landlord, the scholar-bureaucrat, the establishment of the ancestral hall, the combination of the family, the righteousness of the family, the establishment of the clan organization. Second, in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasties, the formation of clans was a trend, and in the times, the landlords and scholar-officials in the south of the Yangtze River were open to the outside world. Since the establishment of the bureaucratic system in the Song Dynasty, the bureaucratic system in the south of the Yangtze River has maintained the relationship between the famous families and the open bureaucratic system. The customary behavior of the family property has been divided into two parts. The rich identity has been transferred to the descendants. The family has been buried in the society. At the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty, the official system was opened to the outside world, the bureaucracy was opened to the outside world, the landlord, the scholar-bureaucrat, the descendant declined, the image system was cut off, the crisis was overcome, the "world minister" and "family" were called, the bureaucracy and the eternal relationship were established, and the clan was formed. The above is the year of knowledge. From now on, the knowledge of the Ming Dynasty, the landlord, the scholar-bureaucrat clan, the Ming Dynasty policy, the clan, the Jiangnan region, the Central China region and the South China region were popularized since the 15th and 16th centuries.
