项目摘要

企業文化が経営活動に対しどのような影響を与えているかについて、昨年度に引き続いて研究を行った。文献にもとづく研究から、企業文化と経営活動、とくに経営戦略との間に強い関係のあることが指摘されていることが明らかとなった。すなわち、企業文化といわれている企業の組織風土の態様が革新的である場合には、その企業は革新的な経営戦略を立案実行しやすいし、実行したさいに、反対考はなく協力的なので新事業は成功しやすいが、逆に企業文化が保守的で失敗を恐れる雰囲気にある場合には、革新的な戦略の計画立案も起りにくく、もしトップが強行しても、革新への抵抗が強く、新事業は失敗に終ることが多いと指摘されている。日本の企業の実態を知るため昨年度末にアンケート調査を実施し、本年度はその結果を集計し分析を行った。この結果、企業文化と経営戦略との間には、文献で指摘されるような密接な関係があること、若干弱いが企業文化と組成の形態の間にも相関が認められ、企業文化の果す重要性が明らかとなった。
