项目摘要

この研究では、異なる文化的文脈のながで、幼児の情緒調整システムが、どのように内的な情緒に関わり、どのようにそれを自己表現しているかを解明した。この目的のため選んだ都内の2つの私立幼稚園は、ともに知育指向ではなく、いわゆる自由教育でありながら、一方は、内面的な意味や感情への関わりを重視するキリスト教系の幼稚園、他方は、素朴な体の活動を重視する野外活動指向の幼稚園であった。教師への長時間で構造的な面接によって、その両者が一部きわめて異なる生活を子どもに与えていることが明らかにされた。それぞれの幼稚園から15人、17人の幼児(年中、年長児)を選び、一人の子どもにつき10余りのデータを収集した。すなわち1)園庭の遊びのVTR観察、子どもへの面接テスト(レプテスト)、2)実験室でのフラストレーション場面のVTR観察、箱庭遊び、言語テスト、母親による子どもの性格テスト、3)幼稚園教師への面接と子どもの性格テスト、4)質問紙による母親への態度調査などである。これらのデータには、幼児の自我の「傷つきにくさ」、言語内容分析が示す内面への関わりの深さ、友だちへの理解の内容など広い範囲の指標が含まれている。解析の結果から、言語性のデータに表わされた子どもの内面への関わり、友だちの内面への深い言及が、内面指向的な前者の幼稚園児を特徴づけたのに対し、後者の園児はこれが乏しいということが示された。また言語をベースとしたこのような内面への関わりのスタイルは、子どもの非言語的な表出行動や性格とは独立したものとして組織化され始めていることが示唆された。

This study is aimed at clarifying the relationship between emotion and expression in different cultural contexts and emotional adjustment in children. The purpose of this selection is to select two private kindergartens in the capital.
