現在日本の大企業のほとんどはその傘下に数多くの子会社を擁して、全体として一個の有機的な事業統合体、すなわち「企業グループ」の形態で存在している。また、複雑な企業間のネットワークを形成し、それは「系列」問題として注目されてきた。本研究は、そうした企業グループや企業系列の本格的な出現の時期を戦前1930年代に求め(仮説)、実証的にデータを作成しながら、事実関係や時代背景を分析しようとしたものである。また、かかる企業グループの出現と、当時の新興コンツェルンの台頭、あるいは既成財閥コンツェルンの変質問題などとの関連をも視野に含めて、新たな歴史像を描くことを目的としていた。つまり、30年代に注目された新興コンツェルンとは上の「企業グループ」概念で捉えられること、あるいはまた、30年代後半の既成財閥の組織変質の問題も同じく財閥内部における「企業グループ」の形成過程として把握できることが明かとなった。それらの全体的なフレームは、とりあえず昨年秋に出版した著書『日本の系列と企業グループ』(有斐閣)の中で論じたが、さらに現在、発表予定の論文原稿としては、別紙記載の3論文がある。本年度の研究の結果、上記の仮説はほぼ正当なものと確認された。ただし、個別ごとのデータは膨大であり、また種々雑多でもあるため、相当の例外的事象をも見いだすことがきた。今後、さらに具体的なデータを分析しながら、上の仮説をより豊かなものに再検討していく作業が必要であろう。なお、1,2年後には、全体を完成させて、書物の形で出版を計画している。

This study analyzes the period of the emergence of the original style of the enterprise series from the 1930s to the 1930s, and the relationship between the actual situation and the background of the times. The results of this year's study, the above report, are valid and confirmed. For example, if you want to buy a car, you can buy a car. From now on, it is necessary to analyze the specific data and discuss the operation again. After 1 or 2 years, the book will be completed and published.
