Quantitative sociolinguistic study of the unnoticed dialectal forms and new dialect.

本研究的目的是阐明迄今为止未被注意到的日本方言现象，与所谓的新方言形式有关，这些新方言形式仍在年轻人中传播。尽管最近由于日本社会的现代化而实现了标准化，但仍然存在方言差异。其中一些甚至被方言学家忽视，因为他们甚至不承认它们显示地理差异的事实。本研究从学生的亲身经历中收集了许多例子，在日本全国进行了大规模的调查，并出版了一本小册子，作为各种语言现象最近分布的报告。这份报告是根据对日本全国许多初中的调查得出的。发现了许多新的方言现象和过去未被注意的地域分布，日本方言的近代变化也呈现出一些有趣的现象。

The purpose of this study is to elucidate the hitherto unnoticed phenomena of dialect in Japan, in relation to so-called new dialect forms which are still propagating among younger speakers.In spite of the recent standardization due to modernization of the Japanese society, there still are dialectal differences. Some of these have been ignored even by dialectologists because even the fact that they show geographical differences is not recognized by them. In this study many examples were gathered from personal experiences of students, and large scale survey was executed all over Japan.A booklet was published as a report fot recent distribution of various linguistic phenomena. The report is based on surveys in many junior-high-schools all over Japan. Many new dialect phenomena and hitherto unnoticed geographical distributions were found. The recent changes of dialects in Japan showed interesting phenomena.
