研究成果を以下の3つの論文として公刊した。各論文の内容は次のようなものである。(1)「流通・取引慣行の経済分析」(『経済法学界年報』)では、「長期継続的な取引関係」「あいまい契約」「信用の重視」で特徴づけられる日本の商取引の基本特性について、その経済的機能を不確実性への取引上の対応という側面から検討した。さらにこうした日本の商取引の基本特性と、返品制、建値制、系列店制といった個別的な商慣行との関係を検討し、個々の商慣行が日本の商取引の基本特性と強く結ばれた制度的補完制(institutional complementarity)を持つことを明らかにした。(2)「規制緩和と日本の産業社会」(『ビジネス・インサイト』)では、規制緩和の流れを日本経済のマクロ構造調整とミクロ経済改革の両面から検討し、規制緩和を手段として描き出される日本の産業社会の方法性を論じた。そのベースとして、規制の経済理論を再検討するとともに、最近の内外における規制緩和に関連した理論的・実証的研究を整理・検討した。(3)"Coordination and Communication in Vertical Relationships"(Annals of the School of Business Administration,Kobe University)では、需要に関する情報の非対称性が存在するもとでのメーカーと小売業者との垂直的な取引関係のモデルをもちいて、価格政策の側面でのメーカーと小売業者間の垂直的な協調について検討した。小売業者は自己の有する需要動向に関する情報をメーカーに伝達する誘因を持たないため、需要動向に関する情報の伝達という側面で、メーカーと小売業者との調整が必要になる。日本の流通段階における建値制は、こうしたメーカーと小売業者との意思決定の調整手段として機能している点を明らかにした。
