本研究の目的は、都市内システムの一日における短期的・周期的変化、すなわちデイリーリズムを、時間地図に基づいて分析することであった。実際の分析に当たっては、北陸の主要都市域の1つである金沢都市圈を、事例地域として選定した。そこで先ず本研究では、事例地域の位置づけを明確にするため、同地域の特性を他都市と比較しながら、イメージや社会・経済的観点から検討し、あわせて近年における交通条件の変遷についても調査した。時間地図復元のための基本的な資料としては、パーソントリップ調査の未集計データを利用することとし、それらを独自に整理・集計・かつ必要に応じて欠損データの補足を行うことによって、都市圏内各地区間の平均所要時間を時間帯別に求め、さらにプール代数法の適用により最短時間距離行列を導出した。上記データに対して多次元尺度構成法を援用することにより、時間地図を時間帯別に復元することができたが、これら時間地図の広がりを考察した結果、そこには朝夕の拡大と昼・夜の収縮があり、拡大は朝の通勤時間帯が夕方よりも明瞭で、一方で深夜から早朝にかけは最も収縮するものであった。また、シンベル指数により時間地図内の近接性を計測した結果、各時間帯ともほぼ同様に、縁辺部から中心部に向かって近接性の向上する同心円的変化パターンを見せたが、詳細に検討すれば、このパターンは地形や交通条件により歪みが生じており、それは特に朝夕の時間帯に明瞭になるものであった。加えて、通常の地図からの乖離度も分析した結果、上記近接性の場合とほぼ同様に、都市圏内では地形や交通条件が原因と考えられる乖離度の地域的・時間的差異があり、以上の諸点から、時間地図は規模の拡大と収縮、歪曲の増大と減少の繰り返しにより、都市内システムのデイリーリズムを支配しているといえた。

The purpose of this study is to analyze the changes in the short-term cycle of urban life and the time base of urban life. In the case of the analysis, the main metropolitan area of Hokuriku is selected as the Kanazawa metropolitan area. This study is based on a survey of the changes in traffic conditions in recent years, comparing the characteristics of the same region with those of other cities. The basic data of time and space complex elements are used independently to sort out, collect and supplement the necessary data of incomplete data in time and space complex elements. The average required time among various regions in a metropolitan area is determined by time difference. The shortest time distance is derived from the application of algebraic method. The above mentioned method of multi-dimensional construction is applied to the study of time and space. The results show that the time and space of the day and night are reduced, and the time and space of the morning are reduced. In addition, the results of measuring proximity within time and place based on the Senbel Index, the same for each time zone and time zone, the changing parameters of proximity from the side to the center and upward concentric circles are shown and discussed in detail. This parameter is generated regardless of terrain and traffic conditions, and is also clear regardless of the time zone at night. In addition, the analysis results of the deviation degree of the general ground, the proximity of the situation, the similarity, the geographical and traffic conditions in the metropolitan area, the difference in time, the above points, the increase in the scale of the time, the decrease in the distortion, and the dominance of the deviation degree in the metropolitan area.
