研究代表者である松本は,ゼータ関数の平均値理論について研究し,ζ^2(S)の近似関数式の残余項R(s,x)の二乗平均値について,また高次巾平均についての新結果を得た.これらは7月に英国のカ-ディフで開かれた国際研究集会において公表された.またζ(S)やHurwitzのζ(s,α)についてもその二乗平均を研究し,とくにζ(S)の1/2<σ<1での二乗平均の残余項E_σ(T)についての最良のΟ-結果やΩ-結果を,A.Ivicとの共著として公表した.Diriehlet多項式とζ(S)との積の平均についての考察をも推進した.また値分布論について,cusp formのゼータのJoyner型不等式を秋の京大数研での研究集会で発表,またζ(S)についてはJoynerの結果より強い漸近等式の証明に成功した.また鍛島は直交群上の球関数についての研究成果を公表し,谷川は楕円曲線のL関数の零点等について詳細に調べた.

The representative of this study is Matsumoto, who has studied the residual term R(s,x) of the approximate correlation formula of z^2 (S) and obtained new results on the average value theory of high order correlation. July 2010-The International Research Conference of the United Kingdom. A study of the bivariate average of the product of the Diriehlet polynomials is carried forward. In the theory of distribution,cusp form is the result of Joyner type inequality. The results of the study on the number of spherical relations on the orthogonal group are presented in detail, and the zeroes of L relations on the curve of Tanigawa are adjusted in detail.
