项目摘要

種々の高機能な製品が開発されるにつれ,その製品に関するマニュアルの重要さに増加する一方である.しかし,マニュアルに書かれている知識は読みやすさ,内容の構造化の度合などでまだまだ問題が多い.さらに製品の複雑さが大きくなるにつれて,特に製品に関する高品質大規模な知識の形成が重要になる.このような状況を鑑み本研究では,日本語のマニュアル文からの高品質な知識形成のための基本技術に関する研究を行なった.マニュアル文からの知識獲得において重要な役割を担うマニュアル文の理解に重点を置き,特に,日本語のマニュアル文において曖昧性を増大させるゼロ代名詞の照応問題を中心に検討した.また,マニュアルの自動ハイパーテキスト化を実現するための基礎技術として,リンクを張るべきキーワードとなる重要語の抽出に関する検討も行なった.本研究によって得られた知見は,以下の通りである.1.マニュアル文からの知識獲得システムに関する研究構文解析器と制約システムを組み合わせ,ゼロ代名詞の推定をおこなうためのシステムを構築した.2.マニュアル文における条件表現に関する研究個々の条件表現の性質により,主節の動作主を決定することができることを示した.3.マニュアル文におけるアスペクト辞に関する研究個々のアスペクト辞の性質により,文の動作主を決定することができることを示した.4.論理型制約システムに関する研究否定表現を導入した論理型制約システムを構築し,個々の言語表現の持つ制約を記述する際に有効であることを示した.5.名詞間の連接情報を用いた重要語の抽出に関する研究語が複合名詞を形成するしやすさに注目することにより,重要語を抽出できることを示した.
