We established a general theory which analyzes the connection problem, the expression of solutions etc. of Fuchsian linear ordinary differential equations and got many new explicit results. We also gave a similar study for the equations which may have irregular singularities. Moreover we applied some results to problems in an integral geometry including Poisson transformations.
