项目摘要

本研究の目的は、人間の思考能力と情報の可視化(visualization)の関係を明らかにすることにより、学びの場に置いて「ビジュアルでものを伝える」という視点から、今後のアクティブラーニングへの可能性について検討することである。当初の予定では、国内外の文献を調査し、システマティックレビューを行い、授業実践やワークショップに向けた知見を集める予定であったが、申請者の妊娠・出産により研究を一時中断せざるを得なかった。そのため、2022年度は、事前調査として授業内でInformation Graphics（可視型リフレクション）の活動を行なった。都内私立大学に通う大学一年生308名を対象に外国語科目のクラスで実践を行ない、学生に対するアンケート調査と教員に対するインタビュー調査を行った。調査対象となった学部ではBYOD（Bring Your Own Device）を導入しており、全学生がノートPCを持参し授業に出席している。教材の配布・課題の提出などはすべてGoogle社の提供するオンライン学習システム「Google Classroom」を通して行なっていたため、紙とペンを使用したInformation Graphicsの活動は新鮮である反面、教員の負担も大きいとの声もあがった。そのため、来年度以降はオンラインでのInformation Graphics導入も視野に入れ調査を続けていく。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between human thinking ability and information visualization.
