In order to reveal fundamental insights about Mobius aromatic molecules, we’ve achieved 1) the syntheses of Mobius antiaromatic molecules 2) developments of new synthetic methods, and 3) peripheral functionalizations of Mobius molecules. In addition, we have developed typical element complexes, novel metal complexes, and stable antiaromatic molecules with intriguing physical properties.
