Research of the Server System capable of adapting to User's Activity History for Distance Education

本研究的目的是开发远程教育服务器系统的系统架构。学习者可以利用该系统架构，将多个CAI系统集成在一起，构建一个适合自己的学习环境。在这项研究中，我们开发了一个新的系统，可以根据学习者的环境或操作历史，为学习者提供零件和工具。北海道大学开发的智能pad用于这项研究的开展。我们可以利用智能pad系统上的功能，利用pad这一部件来构造各种工具。在本研究中，建立了一个基于学习者活动历史的教材传递的基本系统。在这里，学习者的活动历史记录在他们的电脑上。即使使用两个或多个不同的服务器，也可以提供必要的教学材料。我们展示了开发的项目和框架。1)在服务器上发送教材，在客户端接收教材的框架。2)框架根据客户端的状态来改变服务器端需要的数据类型。3)我们开发了分发对象（pad对象），服务器和客户端的工具可以通过它连接。4)根据使用它，我们可以连接服务器和客户端之间的pad。

The purpose of this research is to develop the system architecture of the server system for distance education. Learner can construct a learning environment by integrating plural CAI systems using this system architecture for her/him.In this research, we developed a new system, which make parts and tools available to learners in response to their environment or operation history.IntelligentPad which Hokkaido University developed is used for the development of this research. We can construct various tools using parts which are called pad with the function on the IntelligentPad system.In this research, a basic system to deliver the teaching materials by learner's activity history was developed. Here, learner's activity history is on their computer. Even if two or more different servers were used, a necessary teaching material can be delivered. We show the item and framework of developed.1) The framework of delivering instructional materials in the server computer and receiving it with client computer.2) The framework of according to the state on the client side to change the kind of the data demanded of the server side.3) We developed the distribution object (pad object) with which tools in server and client can be connected.4) According to using it, we can connect the pads between the server and the client.
