项目摘要

研究代表者・分担者それぞれの理論研究・文献研究に加えて、専門の研究者からのアドバイス、国内外の企業や個人に対する聞き取り調査や収集資料、質問紙調査はおおよそ当初の予定通りに進み、それぞれの調査・研究から、各社のGVCのガバナンス、調整の実態と既存理論の問題点が明らかになってきた。特に国内外の聞き取り調査では、企業間調整の実態に関して具体的に聴取することができた。以上のような本年度の研究活動に基づいて以下のような成果と課題が明らかとなった。理論的研究と実態調査から、GVCガバナンス論において想定されているガバナンス類型の三つの規定要因ではGVCの実態を解明するには十分ではないことが明らかになってきた。すなわち、GVCのガバナンス論で想定されている業界ごとの類型では、実際のGVCの複雑性、すなわちGVCを構成する多様で多数の企業間のガバナンスや調整の実態を十分に反映することができないということが明らかとなってきた。この点を踏まえて、GVCを構成する多様な部品やコンポーネントのサプライヤーの複雑な関係性、すなわちリード企業-サプライヤー間の複雑な企業間関係を反映した実態の把握と理論的な枠組みの考案が必要であるということが明らかとなった。また聞き取り調査では自動車業界関連企業の調査も実施しており、その調査の過程で、業界間のガバナンスの実態に大きな違いがあることも発見でき、新たな研究課題も見つけることができた。ただし本研究の質問し研究では、回収率が低く、実数も少なかったため、当初予定していた統計的な解析ができなかった。しかし本調査はパイロット調査として実施されたものであり、したがって次年度は件数を多くして、質問紙の内容、調査対象などにも検討を加え、改善する必要があると考える。
