At the Southern China, it was flow of Yue-people (越人) into the basin of the Yang-ze River (揚子江), from the Warring State Period (戦国時代). They diffused the magic of demon (呪鬼) that was their peculiar manner. The way of the magic was using demon by spell, named ‘warning by spell' (禁呪) or ‘shackle by spell' (禁架). It was understood that reciting breath had effective force."The Late Han Book "(Houhan Shu 後漢書) and "Paopuze"(抱朴子), were wrote at 4^<th> century, has noted as a Yue-fa (越方), was effective magic on extinguish evil or epidemic. Already, Yue-people's magic has spread to the whole area of South China as 4^<th> century. The source of spread was strong effect of their magic. "Late Han Book" also noted ‘Impeachment' (劾), this was the way to impeach for demon's sin. The impeachment also dates back to Yue-fa.Yang-se River functioned for the diffusion of Southern culture. The difference of culture between Huang-he River (黄河) in the North and Yang-se River in the South, is understood as a difference of climate. On the difference, we have to consider also influx of the other culture. It is recorded many sprites or divine and mythology in "The Ballad of Chu"(Chu-ci 楚辞), and these divine or mythology reflect the pantheon of shaman who was influenced by Yue-fa, in ancient Chu Country(楚国). We can find the imprint of Yue-fa in those records.
