项目摘要

かつては日本列島の東北部分において話されていたが、現在はその話し手がごくわずかに減ってしまった日本における唯一の異言語であるアイヌ語の土着の話者を対象として、彼らの使っている日本語音声を調査、収録しこれらの資料を日本語の東北方言の音声資料と比較対照して分析し、日本語、特に東北方言とアイヌ語の二言語接触、言語干渉の実態の解明を通じて、総合的日本語音声の研究と教育に貢献することを目的とする。北海道に住むアイヌ語の土着話者(アイヌ語を自発的に話せる者9人)について全国共通項目、個人史、自由会話、昔話などの日本語音声をDATテープレコーダーで収録した。アイヌ語土着話者は高齢者が多く、その収録は緊急をようするので初年度になるべく多くの収録を行うこととし、収録を分析整理するよりも優先させ調査を行った。研究分担者全員での調査は、平成元年8月と平成2年3月に2回行い、その他個別の調査は本年度中6回に及んだ。その他、アイヌ語の土着聴者(アイヌ語を聴いてほとんどわかる者25人程度)を対象に、彼らの話す日本語について、一定の項目に関して、良質な音声収録、これら資料を東日本班と同じ方法でデーターベース化し、言語学的、音響学的分析を行うことも予定していたが、上記のようにアイヌ語土着話者の収録が緊急を要したため最終的な収録及び分析・検討結果はでていませんが、上記録音音声を検討し、分析した結果の一部は、研究成果中間報告会(平成元年10月、大阪)で村崎恭子が、平成元年度研究成果報告会(平成2年1月、東京)で尾崎喜光がそれぞれ発表している。
