项目摘要

国連売買条約(CISG)は,1980年に採択された国際統一売買条約であり,大陸法系の理論的精緻を排し,商取引における常識的感覚に適合したものになっている.しかし,このことがCISGに関する機械的理解を困難にしている.そこで,研究代表者らは,CISGのための知識表現言語として格構造的構造をもった言語の設計を行うために,英文CISGについての格構造の研究を行っている.本年度は,英文CISGに現われる節を格構造化するための手続きの開発を目指した.英文CISGの格構造化は,半自動的に次のプロセスで行う.(1)コーパスを作成する.(2)各動詞が要求する格を決定する.(3)コーパスに対応して格を決定する手続きを作成する.(1)のコーパスは前年度に完成しているので,それを元にまず(2)の決定を行った.格として,とりあえず,agent,object,attribute,cause,goal,beneficiary,experience,basis,placeを考えた.次に,(3)の手続き作成であるが,名詞句の意味から格を決定するのは困難であるため,文法的な観点から格を決定することを試みた.英文CISGを,学校文法の第1〜5文型に分類し,それぞれについて格構造化する手続きを検討した.その結果,第1〜3文型に対する格構造化手続きが得られた.第4,5文型については現在開発中である.
