项目摘要

高等教育機関は独立行政法人化を含めた大学改革の中に在り、「教育」「研究」「社会貢献」の3つの課題に対し、鋭意検討中である。大学教育・研究の高度化・個性化と共に組織の活性化の中で、IT革命への積極的な対応を求められている。これはマルチメディア環境を多用することを念頭に置いており、目指す方向は、我々の研究領域と合致する。本研究組織も現状と今後を眺望し、(1)情報リテラシ教育、(2)専門課程教育、(3)教員養成向け教育、(4)新教育方法、の4つのグルーブを編成し、以下の多くの成果を得た。(1)は工学的な技術論理、情報倫理の基本理念の提言、情報リテラシ教育授業の研究、情報処理教育用適応型教材に関する研究、PC教育教材のDVD試作およびWebベースで行うe-Learningのコース設計・開発・管理を行う統合ソフトに関する研究などの成果を得た。(2)については、学部向け情報リテラシ教育の最適化の研究、学部に適合した高度情報リテラシ教育教材の開発、専門科目の高度教材開発研究をマルチメディア環境の基で行って成果を得た。なお、これらの研究は実践教育の評価を踏まえた統合的な研究である。(3)の分野では、高校の情報教育の目標、担当教師の職能、教師向けの情報教育素材の開発・研究、情報科教員を目指す受講学生の知識と情報教育内容を連携させる知識ベースシステムの開発など、マルチメディア環境を活用した研究成果を得た。(4)の新しい教育方法では、情報教育に止まらず、大学教育全般を対象とした遠隔教育についての研究を推進し、受講対象を大学以外に拡げ、Web環境を活用した講義・個別・探求型・グループなどの学習に適したe-Learning環境の開発、同一大学内におけるWeb環境下での遠隔教育実践に対する評価、他教育機関と連携した所謂バーチャルユニバーシティにおける遠隔連携ゼミでの相互の学生の意識解析。さらにマルチメディア環境を活用した国際的な遠隔双方向講義の実施結果から、受講学生の意識調査に基づく遠隔講義システムの研究・評価などの成果を得た。なお、本研究の一環として、一般情報教育の高度化を目指したテキストを現在作成中である。
