遼金時代は東北アジアから興起した異民族政権が相継いで華北地域を支配したというだけでなく、起源と習俗を異にする多様な人々を抱える複合国家が形成されたことにおいても、続くモンゴルの元朝に繋がる部分が多い。とりわけ遼朝を建てた契丹人たちが金朝や元朝でも重要な役割を担い続けた事実に加え、公式の文書には契丹字や女真字が漢字とならび用いられるなど、言語や文化のうえでも、旧来の中国王朝にはない特色が見受けられる。事実、金代には女真語訳された中国の典籍が少なからず出版されたように、征服王朝の出版文化への影響が顕著に窺える反面で、元代になると漢児言語や蒙分直訳体などの特異な漢語文体で記された書籍がむしろ目だって増えてくる。元代を代表する法律書『元典章』や『大元通制』もそうした漢語文献にほかならず、泰和律の廃止に伴い、唐律の需要が高まると、いわゆる「刑統の学」がにわかに活気を帯びる。それは南宋の旧領にあたる江西地方で『故唐律疏義』が初めて刊行されたのと軌を一にするものながら、もとはといえば、遼金両朝が唐律を参酌しながら、さまざまな民族で構成される複合国家にふさわしい独自の刑法典を作りあげてきた背景をもつ。法の二元体制で知られる遼朝が遊牧諸族に適用すべき部族法をまとめるに際して触媒にしたのは唐律であり、その本格的な受容は唐末から宋初にかけて現れる「刑統」と銘打つ法律書を通じて行われたからである。しかも、契丹字で表記される語彙の多くが漢語の音写というかたちを採っているように、異民族政権もまた中国法を基本にしながら、独自の体系を築いてゆくほかなかった。その意味で遼の条制や金の制条や律義はいずれも「刑統」の系譜に連なるものであり、この時代に特有の漢語で書かれた多くの法律実用書もまたこうした文化受容のあり方を反映していたのである。

In the Liao and Jin Dynasties, different ethnic groups emerged from the northeast, and the North China region was dominated by different ethnic groups. The origin and customs were different, and many people were involved in the formation of a complex country. The Khitan people of Liao Dynasty were established in Jin Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty. The important service was cut in Yuan Dynasty. The official documents were added. The Khitan characters and Jurchen characters were used in Chinese characters. The language and culture were added. The characteristics of the old China Dynasty were received. In the Jin Dynasty, the Jurchen language was used to record China's classics, and the influence of the publishing culture of the conquering dynasties was also observed. In the Yuan Dynasty, the Han language was used to record the Chinese style. Yuan Dynasty represents the law book "Yuan Law" and "Da Yuan Tong System". The Chinese literature is in high demand. The law of Taihe is in high demand. The law of Tang Dynasty is in high demand. In the Southern Song Dynasty, the old rule of Jiangxi Province was published in the early days of the Tang Dynasty, and the Liao and Jin Dynasties were considered in the Tang Dynasty. The composition of the nation was composed of a compound state, and the criminal code of the Tang Dynasty was independently published in the background. The dualistic system of law was known to the nomadic tribes in Liao Dynasty. The tribal law was applied to the nomadic tribes in Liao Dynasty. The law of Tang Dynasty was accepted in the late Tang Dynasty. The law of Song Dynasty was accepted in the early Song Dynasty. The law of punishment was written in the book of law. Many words are written in Chinese, different nationalities are political, China law is basic, independent and systematic. The meaning of Liao's article system and gold's article system is to reflect the genealogy of "criminal system" and the unique Chinese books of this era.
