本研究の最終的な目標は,金融市場でしばしば見られる大きな価格変動の将来予測および価格安定化のための手法の開発と,それを実現する制度設計・政策提言を行うことにある.本年度の研究では,上記の最終目標に向けて必要となると考えられる,市場参加者個々人の意思決定方略や心理バイアスの解明と,それがマクロな市場価格形成に与える影響を明らかにするための人工市場モデルの拡張を行った.具体的には,まず,実際の経済取引場面に酷似した模擬市場での実験を通して,現実のプロの市場参加者が共通に示す心理バイアスを明らかにした.Java言語を用いて独自に開発した仮想市場実験システムVDSを通して,金融の実務経験が5年以上のエキスパートと経済学部生・大学院生であるノービスに,外国為替取引を行わせ,そこでの投資行動を特にリスク管理と利益の確定という意思決定の側面から分析した.その結果,エキスパートの市場参加者は,プロスペクト理論で示される投資家の非合理的行動を部分的に回避していることがわかった.プロスペクト理論では,処置効果もサンクコスト効果も投資家に一般的にかかるバイアスとされているが,真のエキスパートは少なくともサンクコスト効果を回避していることが明らかになった.また,現実のプロの市場参加者にインタビューを行い,彼らの意思決定方略の一部(市場のコンセンサスへの注目)を抽出した.それを人工市場モデルに実装し,そのモデルでのシミュレーションを通して,市場のコンセンサスへの注目という意思決定方略が金融市場の価格形成に与える影響について分析を行い,市場のコンセンサスの形成過程や価格形成における意味を明確にした.具体的には,(1)実際に取引を行う投資家エージェントが価格決定要因の全てを入手できないことが新古典派経済学における情報の不安定性をもたらしていること,(2)そのため,投資家エージェントは全ての情報を処理できる情報提供者エージェントの予測に大部分は依存することになり,これにより情報の不均衡・非対称性が発生していること,(3)一方でこの非対称性を克服するための「アナリストランキング」が自然発生しており,これが意見の集約に大きな役割を果たしていること,が明らかになった.今後は,模擬市場実験で明らかにされた心理バイアスを,構築した人工市場モデルの各エージェントの意思決定の部分に実装し,そのシミュレーションに基づいて,金融市場の安定化のための制度設計・政策提言を行う予定である.
