本年度は、第一に、福井県大野郡勝山町所在の勝山機業兄弟合資会社という絹織物企業に注目し、同社の営業報告書の分析を通じて、長期にわたる持続的な企業成長の過程を記述するとともに、それを可能にした要因を明らかにした。そこで明らかになったことは、次の通りである。絹織物企業として最大級の規模をもち、同業他社と比較して相対的に高い収益率を挙げていた勝山兄弟社だったが、1910年代には原料生糸価格の予想を超えた上昇にたびたび悩まされた。これに対する効果的な対応は容易ではなかったが、この時期の資産の内訳の大部分が原料生糸であったことから、多くの原糸を持つことによって価格変動に対処しようとしていたことがうかがえる。1920年代には、新たに手がけたモスリン製品の価格が下落して販売が困難となり、多量の在庫を抱えるという事態に陥った。これに対して勝山兄弟社は、さらに新しい製品を開拓するという選択をおこなった。財務面では、初期の勝山兄弟社の成長を支えたのは地元の勝山銀行からの借入であったが、同銀行の経営破綻と経営陣の交代によってその持続は困難となった。その危機を社員の連帯責任による信用保証で克服し、以後、勝山兄弟社は地元の限定された数の投資家から継続的に増資資金の払込を得て、自己資本による成長を続けていった。これらの研究成果は、企業家研究フォーラム2015年度年次大会において口頭報告の形で発表した。また、『経営史学』（経営史学会）に「戦前日本の絹織物産地における企業成長-経営環境の変化と勝山機業兄弟合資会社の対応」として投稿し、「改稿のうえ、再投稿を求める」という審査結果を得た。第二に、これまでの研究成果をまとめ、博士論文「市場変化と企業ダイナミクス－戦前日本における絹綿織物業の発展」として東京大学大学院経済学研究科へ提出し、学位（博士、経済学）を得た。
