1. Biology-related terms in the present textbooks of elementary school "Science", lower secondary school "Science", upper secondary school "Science I" and "Biology" were drew out and listed up.2. Fifteen kinds of the textbooks which were published before and after introducing BSCS project from United States into Japan were investigated. And, biology-related terms in these textbooks were listed up in the same way.3. These lists were compared and checked to make clear the influence of BSCS project on the contents of Japanese Textbooks.4. The list of biology-related terms in the textbooks for elementary and secondary schools was printed as a project report.
