The comparative study of Japanese and Chinese children's everyday life, culture and environments in a time of baby bust.

本研究是对日本、中国、台湾和韩国在生育高峰时期的儿童日常生活进行比较调查。在所有国家和地区，调查都是在城镇和农业区进行的，本研究的目的是确定儿童在日常生活、文化和环境方面的差异。本研究采用问卷调查法，主要内容包括儿童在家庭、社区和学校的日常生活、父母对子女照顾的看法和程序、父母对子女未来的看法、父母与子女的关系、问题行为等。儿童包括小学生和初中生。结果表明，本次调查的几乎所有项目都存在显著的国家和地区差异。日本和中国的研究人员根据这些调查结果讨论了教育和儿童保育的方法。

This study was the comparative surveys on the daily lives of children in a time of baby bust among Japan, China, Taiwan and Korea. In all countries and region, the surveys were carried out in towns and agricultural districts.The purpose of this study was to determine the differences on everyday life, culture and environments of children. The main content of the questionnaire in this study included the daily life of children in home, community and sshool, the views and the procedures of parents on their children care, the future views of parents on their children, the relationships between parents and their children, problem behaviors and so on.The surveys were made on children and their parents. Children included kindergarteners, elementary school pupils and junior high-school pupils. Parents included those of kindergarteners and those of elementary school pupils.The results showed that significant differences were found among conutries and region in almost all of items in this survey. The researchers attending this study in both Japan and China dicussed on the methods of education and child care based on the results of these surveys.
