项目摘要

The Japanese Archaeological Expeditions to West Asia have passed on fourty years since 1956, and recently more than ten expeditions have been send to theree very year. Accordingly, they have kept many materials and research results, altought, it seems that the materials and the research results have not been opened enough to the public. Therefore, to begin with the data base for these materials and the research results have to have been made. We, members of the expeditions and the researchers, have put into effect co-operative researches about them during three years as follows.1. We have made the data bases on the archaeological sites where the Japanese archaeological expeditions have excavated or researched in West Asian countries.The data bases on catalog of books which Japanese researchers have written on the West Asian history.The catalog of the books that have been written on the West Asian history in foreign language and contents of journals of the ancient history, which has in the Institute for Cultural Studies of Ancient Iraq, Kokushikan University.Thus, anyone can look up the data about the West Asian history and the archaeological sites which Japanese researches has written on, from anywhere and anytime.Annual meetings of the archaeological expeditions have been held in every year and the result has been opened to public and published as "The excavation reports of the Japanese archaeological expedition to West Asia in 1994 and 1995". The symposiums have been opened and published as "The researches of the ancient civilizations in Asia -the current of the history and water-", "Hellenism through Islam", and "The researches on the origin of the civilization -the Neolithic period in West Asia-".We are planning to enrich still more their data, moreover to try to carry forward go ahead with changes of the information with the foreign researchers, to grow the researches of the West Asian history.

日本考古队自1956年起赴西亚考古已历经四十年，近年每年派出十余次。因此，他们保留了很多资料和研究成果，尽管这些资料和研究成果似乎还没有向公众开放得足够多。因此，首先必须建立这些材料和研究成果的数据库。我们作为探险队成员和研究人员，历时三年对此进行了如下合作研究： 1．我们建立了日本考古队在西亚各国发掘或研究的考古遗址的数据库。日本研究人员编写的西亚历史书籍目录数据库。国士馆大学古伊拉克文化研究所收藏的西亚历史的外文书籍目录和古代历史期刊的内容。因此，任何人都可以查阅。可以随时随地查询日本研究人员撰写的有关西亚历史和考古遗址的资料。每年召开考古考察年会，成果以《1994年和1995年日本西亚考古考察发掘报告》的形式向社会公开发表。学术研讨会已开办并出版了《亚洲古代文明研究——历史与水流——》、《通过伊斯兰教的希腊化》、《文明起源研究——西亚新石器时代——》。我们计划进一步充实资料，并努力与国外研究者共同推进资料的变化，发展西亚历史的研究。
